The exhibition shows more than 300 anatomical specimens of the human body. In addition flexible modells made by polyurethane as well as serial sections of various organs and body regions which are embedded into epoxyde resin can be studied by the visitors.

On each specimen the important anatomical structures are labelled by numbers which are explained by adjacent documents or fotografic atlasses.

Complete series of conventionel X-rays as well as of MR and CT images are present for self-directed study. Finally 8 PCs are included which allow to use e-learning programs concerning embryology, histology and gross anatomy.

Some of the programs have been developed by members of the Institute of Anatomy.
