The Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab at the Institute for Anatomy, Irchel Campus
The Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab is a joint facility of the Division of Gross Anatomy and the Centre for Evolutionary Medicine (ZEM).
The Skills Lab's main goal is to offer an environment where clinics, surgeons and doctors can gain access to the Institute’s body donations in a controlled environment and where they can establish new surgery protocols, attend postgraduate eduction in clinical anatomy or perform research.
The technical personnel of the macroscopy section is preparing body preparations in a quality nearly free of immission. With methods of conservation developed especially for this purpose and various injected resins, we can offer structures for simulations that are completely flexible and supple.
The Skills lab is accessible for 24 hours every day and can be booked via the online booking request form.
Please note that a submitted research proposal is binding, but that we reserve the right to change the submitted date according to the capacity of the Skills Lab.
